PITCH

So, you have a good game, the gameplay has been tested and you are ready to present it to potential publishers. That can be quite exciting, because you are going public with your idea for the first time and you usually only get one chance. Good preparation and the right materials are therefore essential!

The perfect pitch

Who are you pitching to? How does your game idea fit with the publisher? How long do you get? What kind of material do you leave behind? There are many more questions that you should have thought about before you try to sell your game idea with a perfect pitch to the publisher.

How does it work?

Part of your pitch is first of all a good prototype to play the game on the spot. Don’t worry, this doesn’t have to be fancy as long as it works.

In addition to your prototype, it is important to have a short presentation so that the contact person at the publisher can present the game idea. Because yes, more people in the organization often have to help decide whether to include the game in their games catalog and they are not always included in the pitch itself.

A so-called one-pager is also very useful. It says it all, all important information is clearly arranged on one page. Time is precious so the easier you make it, the better.

I am happy to help you set up a fascinating presentation and a powerful one-pager that not only supports you during the pitch itself, but is also tailored to the publisher’s needs for internal presentation.

Would you rather not spend the time approaching publishers and creating the necessary materials yourself? Then I can also take over this process from you. Please see the publish page for more information.

What does it cost?

The costs for this step are truly tailor-made. Some game designers are much more adept at this than others, and some games are much more complex than others. Based on your wishes, I can make a proposal. So please feel free to contact me to discuss the possibilities.
